The Futures of Human Welfare Society is a registered non-profit that works in the villages of Gorakhpur district and beyond — on education, health, livelihoods and social justice.

Our mission

To uplift marginalised communities by promoting education, health, skill development and social welfare. We work to alleviate poverty, empower women and youth, support vulnerable groups and build stronger communities — through inclusive, ethical and sustainable initiatives, with a commitment to the environment and to equal opportunity for all.

An inclusive, empowered and compassionate society where every person — regardless of caste, gender, economic background or social status — has quality education, healthcare and a sustainable livelihood. A future where women, children, the elderly, people with disabilities and marginalised communities are not only protected, but lead their own development.

01 Education & literacy
  • Adult and informal education so that every section of society can read and write
  • Schools and colleges from primary to post-graduate level — Hindi, English, Sanskrit and Urdu medium, including CBSE and ICSE
  • Residential hostels for boys and girls in rural areas
  • Technical, nursing, paramedical, engineering, medical, polytechnic and agricultural colleges, with government permission
  • Free computer education, especially for children from Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes
  • Libraries, reading rooms and museums for public awareness
  • Support for the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan education mission
02 Women’s empowerment
  • Training in computer typing, sewing, embroidery, weaving, painting, music, fruit preservation, rexine art and beauty parlour work
  • Art training, digital education and literacy programmes for women
  • Education and employment programmes for the most vulnerable women
  • Shelters and old-age homes for destitute women, the elderly and children
  • Women’s and children’s conferences and debates
03 Skills & employment
  • Trade training — electrician, wireman, plumber, welder, fitter, turner, carpenter, mason, machinist, motor and diesel mechanic, AC repair and computer operator
  • Training centres for small-scale and cottage industries
  • Khadi, handloom, handicrafts and village industry programmes
  • Support under the Skill India and Make in India programmes
  • Technical training for landless labourers and rural artisans below the poverty line
04 Health & medical care
  • Free vaccination, blood donation and eye-check camps
  • Charitable hospitals, dispensaries and mobile medical services, working alongside the Red Cross
  • Family welfare and child welfare programmes in villages
  • Awareness and free medicines for polio, hepatitis, malaria, filariasis, leprosy, TB and more
  • Anti-depression classes and mental wellbeing support
05 Agriculture & animal care
  • Free guidance on animal husbandry, fisheries, poultry and sericulture

  • Free dharamshalas for students, traders and farmers from India and abroad
  • Relief for people affected by floods, earthquakes and epidemics

  • Sports training centres and gymnasiums for young people
  • Kabaddi, cricket, wrestling, hockey, football, volleyball, judo, karate and more — with prize events
  • A special focus on wrestling, so the country’s wrestlers get the recognition they deserve
